Blockage of four hours daily for a week by NHAI on Chandigarh-Manali National Highway, know the blockage time.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, April 22: An important decision has been taken by the National Highway Authority of India to keep the Pandoh route via Mandi of Chandigarh-Manali National Highway closed for four hours every morning from Monday to Sunday.

Due to NHAI blockage, small vehicles will get the facility of alternative routes but big vehicles will have to stop their vehicles for four hours and waste their precious time on Chandigarh-Manali National Highway.

NHAI is going to remove the debris and sharp heavy rocks hanging in the air from six miles and nine miles by installing blockage and also the incomplete road cutting in the four lane under construction in Bindrabani is going to be completed properly.

Additional Superintendent of Police, Mandi District Police Administration Sagar Chandra said that one blockage will be from 11 am to 1 pm and the other blockage will be from 3 pm to 5 pm. He said that Kamand-Kataula road is open from both sides for normal vehicles, Sundernagar via Pandoh Gohar Chaulkhowk road for small vehicles but heavy vehicles will have to waste their time on Chandigarh-Manali National Highway.
