Major accident: 100-year-old cedar tree fell in Bhootnath Chowk, Manali, 10 vehicles buried, 1 injured.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Kullu, April 19: The weather is continuously worsening in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Storm and hurricane have caused huge damage at many places. In this series, a big accident took place in Bhootnath Chowk, Manali. Due to the sudden fall of a cedar tree, ten parked vehicles of Manali Taxi Union were completely trapped and buried. And one person was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.

Local shopkeeper Satish told that the cedar tree was very old and the administration was asked several times to cut the branches but now the officials are surprised when an accident occurs.
