Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 28: A shocking case has come to light from Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, in the Forest Colony of Khalini town here, a person shot a dog, due to which the dog died. A person Sunny living in Lower Khalini informed the New Shimla Police about this incident. New Shimla Police took immediate action on the complaint and registered an FIR. Arms Act has also been invoked in the FIR. New Shimla Police has started investigating the case.

Sunny, living in Lower Khalini, Shimla, said in the complaint given to New Shimla Police that on Wednesday afternoon at around 3:40 pm, he heard a loud sound near Forest Colony and on the spot found a dog writhing in pain and after some time The dog died. Complainant Sunny told New Shimla Police that during this time a person was seen in Forest Colony, who had a gun in his hand.

SHO of New Shimla said that action is being taken by registering a case under section 429 of IPC (killing of animals) and Arms Act regarding this incident.

The investigation team is investigating on the spot. No one has been detained yet in this case.
