The treatment will also be such that the patient will get immediate relief from all types of pain on the lines of allopathy. Dr. Uday Kulkarni of Thane, Mumbai, who created the Viddhagni Yantra, has handed over the Viddhagni Yantra to the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute.

A one-day national seminar and workshop on Agnikarma was organized at the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Pandoh on Wednesday. More than 50 doctors of Ayurveda department from all over Himachal Pradesh participated in this seminar. Dr. Uday Kulkarni from Thane, Mumbai, who came as an expert, gave practical information about all the methods of treatment through Viddhagni Yantra and also got practical treatments done from the doctors.

Dr. Uday Kulkarni said that immediate treatment of all types of pain is possible in Ayurveda, but people have this misconception that Ayurveda provides slow treatment. Dr. Uday said that the Viddhagni Yantra provides immediate treatment possible for all types of pain including cancer pain, sports related injury, tennis elbow, knee pain, arm pain, sciatica pain, pancreas pain, piles, fistula and asthma. Beauty treatment is also done with Viddhagni Yantra.

Let us tell you that Ayurveda currently has a huge and expensive machine available to perform Agnikarma, which is not possible to make available in every institution and to provide treatment with it. Understanding this, Dr. Uday Kulkarni created Viddhagni Yantra in the year 2010. This is a small device of the same big machine which can be easily carried everywhere and its price is also only around Rs 20 thousand.
Dr. Uday Kulkarni told that he has applied for patent of this machine and technology. Till now, Dr. Uday Kulkarni has trained more than one thousand doctors from 20 states of the country on the request of the Ministry of AYUSH. Dr. Uday Kulkarni has come to Himachal Pradesh for the first time to impart training on Viddhagni Yantra.
On this occasion, Dr. Rajesh Sannd, Assistant Director of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Pandoh, said that such events are regularly organized in the institute regarding new techniques of Ayurveda. He thanked Dr. Uday Kulkarni for donating the Viddhagni Yantra to the institute and told that people can come to the institute to get relief from all types of severe pain and take treatment through it. The doctors of the institute have received complete training in this.
