Kangra News: Shopkeeper From Punjab Absconds After Cheating 12 People Of Rs 1 Crore 18 Lakh In Bhawarna Market
A case of fraud worth crores of rupees has come to light from some shopkeepers in Bhawarna market.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Kangra, March 17: A case of fraud worth crores of rupees has come to light from some shopkeepers in Bhawarna market. According to the information recieved, a person from Adampur city of Punjab was running a clothes shop in Bhawarna for the last 4 years. He established good relations with some shopkeepers and employed people of Bhawarna market and got them to invest lakhs of rupees somewhere. This person from Adampur city was giving huge amount of money to the people in the form of interest in exchange of money, but recently when people became suspicious of the said cloth seller, they started pressurizing the cloth seller to return their money.

On Friday at 1 pm, a cloth seller of Adampur city suddenly went somewhere and his mobile phone also got switched off, due to which the problems of the people increased further. On Saturday, 12 people submitted a complaint letter at Bhawarna police station. According to the complaint, these people have Rs 1 crore 18 lakh. The family members of the clothes seller have also lodged a missing report at Bhawarna police station.

SHO Bhawarna Kehar Singh Thakur said that the investigation of the case is going on based on the complaint. The last location of the clothes seller phone was traced to Paraur. After that the phone switched off.
