Himachal News: From This Day Onwards Tourists Will Be Able To Have Fun In Snow In Sissu And Koksar Of Lahaul
Sissu head Rajeev and Koksar head Sachin Mirupa said that Sissu and North Portal of Atal Tunnel and Koksar area will be reopened for tourist activities from March.
After the gift of Atal Tunnel Rohtang, the influx of tourists to Sissu and Koksar of Chandra Valley in Lahaul is continuously increasing every year. Although, for the last one and a half month, there has been silence in the tourist places of Lahaul without tourists, but from March 1, tourists from all over the country will be able to enjoy the valleys of Lahaul shining with the silver of snow.

These days, due to Devkaraj, tourism activities are closed in the famous tourist places of Chandraghati, Sissu and Koksar. In Sissu and Koksar Panchayat, there should not be any kind of noise in Devkaraj, due to this, both the Panchayats have banned tourism activities at the Panchayat level for two years before the Halda festival and till the completion of the Poona festival.
This time too, from January 15 to February 28, Sissu Panchayat has passed a resolution and informed the Deputy Commissioner Administration.
Koksar Panchayat has also banned tourism activities in the areas around Atal Tunnel from January 18 to the end of February due to Devkaraj. Now Devkaraj has ended in both the Panchayats.

Businessmen associated with tourism activities, especially unemployed youth, will once again get a chance to earn employment.
He told that due to Devkaraj in the Panchayat, for the last two years, before the Halda festival and till the end of Poona Utsav, the Panchayat has decided to stop tourism activities with the consent of the villagers, Ghepan Committee, Devi Boti Committee, Gompa Committee, Mahila and Youth Club.
