Sirmour News: After Dramatic Incident, MLA Ajay Solanki Inaugurated Nahan Municipal Council Parking Amid Tight Security
MLA Ajay Solanki, while talking to the journalists, said that there is a lot of parking problem in Nahan, keeping this parking in mind, this parking has been constructed. On the question of opposition being made by BJP, he said that BJP is only trying to give political direction to this issue.
After several days of dramatic controversy, Nahan MLA Ajay Solanki on Sunday inaugurated the Municipal Council parking built at a cost of Rs 3.78 crore. On Sunday at 11:00 pm, MLA Ajay Solanki dedicated the newly constructed parking lot for 180 vehicles to the public. The special thing was that during inauguration strict security arrangements were also made. Police personnel are deployed on the spot. DSP Headquarters Ramakant Thakur himself was also present on the spot.
Actually, there was a lot of controversy between Congress and BJP regarding parking. The controversy started when Municipal Council Chairperson Shyama Pundir along with BJP councilors inaugurated the parking lot on Wednesday. As soon as Congress got wind of this, they uprooted the inauguration plaque. After this, Congress and BJP stood face to face. Ward number 7 councilor Rakesh Garg had camped at the spot. The councilors said that the parking was to be inaugurated by the local MLA.

On the other hand, BJP MLA from Pachhad assembly constituency Reena Kashyap had also raised this issue in the assembly with the Chief Minister. Before the inauguration of Ajay Solanki on Sunday, BJP state president and former MLA Rajiv Bindal had made many allegations against Congress in a press conference. The MLA said that Congress was trying to cheat the public by repeatedly dedicating the same parking lot.

MLA Ajay Solanki said the situation had been cleared by the directorate. It was inaugurated only after the permission of the Chief Minister but BJP has tried to install the inauguration plaque in an inappropriate manner. The Chief Minister had also made it clear in his reply in the Assembly that the MLA has taken permission from him regarding the inauguration of the parking and it is illegal to inaugurate it before that.
