The mortal remains of martyred soldier Happy Singh of Lili village of Nagrota Bagwan assembly constituency of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh reached his native village after three days on Thursday. Seeing the dead body of son Happy Singh, parents and sister have become unconscious. Ever since the news of Happy Singh’s death was received, all three in the family have not consumed even a single grain of food. Even the neighbors have not lit the stove. The entire Lili village is sad. Thousands of people bid last farewell to martyr Happy Singh. Every eye has become moist. During this, people raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Shaheed Happy Singh Amar Rahe….

Let us tell you that Happy Singh (24), a soldier serving in Leh in the Indian Army, died suddenly on Monday. Martyr Happy Singh was serving in the Indian Army’s 26 Punjab Regiment in Leh. Two days before his death, he was admitted to the hospital when his health deteriorated during his duty in the glacier in the harsh cold, but despite the efforts of the doctors, Martyr Happy died on Monday morning. Martyr Happy was unmarried while he also has a younger sister. Father Vineet Kumar currently runs a vegetable shop in the Lili village, while mother is a housewife.
