Three renowned companies have agreed to start air services in Himachal Pradesh.

Applications were invited from all air companies by the Union Aviation Ministry to start non-scheduled flights in Himachal Pradesh under the UDAN-II project.

Air companies are said to provide excellent air services from Chandigarh to Palampur, Dharamshala, Chamba, Kinnaur, Reckong Peo.

Now the route awards are yet to be given to the three air companies by the Central Government.

Heli taxi services are completely closed in Himachal Pradesh since November 2023.

The time of the air company which was entrusted with the task of operating heli taxi services in Himachal Pradesh has ended.

According to reliable sources, renowned air companies like Pawan Hans and Global Vectra have also come forward for air services in Himachal Pradesh.

Heli taxi services in Himachal Pradesh are going to start from Chandigarh-1 to Palampur, Dharamshala and Chamba, Chandigarh to Baddi and Reckong Peo.

On the other hand, another renowned air company has applied for Dharamshala, Palampur, Chamba, Rakkad route.

Air services are also going to be started from Sanjauli in Himachal Pradesh capital Shimla city and Baddi heliport in Solan district.

A budget amount of Rs 30 crore was approved for the construction and expansion work of heliport in Himachal Pradesh –

A budget provision of Rs 30 crore has been made by the Himachal Pradesh Government for the construction and expansion of all the identified heliports during the current financial year.

Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department believes that the work of connecting Himachal Pradesh with different places of India through rail, road and air connectivity is being done day and night on a war footing.

Air services and tourism are synonymous with each other in Himachal Pradesh. Several important steps are being taken recently by the Government of Himachal Pradesh to strengthen air and transport services throughout Himachal Pradesh.

All The Work has been started to develop heliports at Rampur, Baddi, Kangnidhar (Mandi) and SASE (Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment) Manali in Himachal Pradesh.

With the promotion of tourism in Himachal Pradesh by Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, more number of tourists from the country and the world are going to easily reach all the untouched tourist places of Himachal Pradesh in a short time.

Heli taxi services will soon be started from Sanjauli, Rampur, Baddi and Mandi of Himachal Pradesh –

Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department says that all the formalities have been completed to start heli taxi services from Sanjauli, Rampur, Baddi and Mandi of Himachal Pradesh. The application for license of heli taxi has also been completed.
