Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that by encouraging eco-tourism in Himachal Pradesh, the number of tourists in the state of Himachal Pradesh will not only increase but the increase in the revenue of Himachal Pradesh will also provide employment to all the youth of Himachal Pradesh And all important opportunities can also be created to establish self-employment.

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that to promote tourism in the state of Himachal Pradesh, special emphasis is being given to all the present authorities to develop special infrastructure, so that all the untapped tourists in Himachal Pradesh can reach the destination. The destinations are being connected with road facilities so that all the tourists visiting Himachal Pradesh can get better transportation facilities.

Construction work of Mcleodganj-Bhagsunag-Tau Chola road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 7.13 crore at Indrunag Tau-Chola in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh and all various construction works of Hiru Dasalan-Tamru Chola road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 6.12 crore. After performing the bhoomi pujan of the works, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the speedy completion of the construction works of all these routes will boost all the tourism activities in Himachal Pradesh. Chief Minister Sukhu also said that Himachal Pradesh is blessed with nature. Himachal has been blessed with the beautification of supernatural hills and the beautiful valleys of Himachal which have been continuously attracting tourists from all over the country and abroad with their richness.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the Himachal Pradesh government is continuously taking proactive steps to develop Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh as the tourism capital of Himachal Pradesh.

Chief Minister Sukhu said that work is being done smoothly on all the various important projects in Kangra district, the tourism capital of Himachal Pradesh.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that under the tourism development works, International Startup Convention Center in Dharamshala, Zoological Park in Bankhandi, Old Age Wellness Resort and High End Fountain Park in Nagrota Bagwan Assembly, proposed tourism village, ice skating and roller skating rink in Narghota. On all the important projects like Golf Course Ground in Paragpur, Biodiversity Park in Dhauladhar of Dharamshala, Wedding Resort in Maijha of Palampur Assembly, as well as Heliport construction work at various identified places, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed to complete the construction works at a rapid pace as soon as possible And All Guidelines for starting projects were given to all the officers.

Chief Minister Sukhu said that the Government of Himachal Pradesh has identified all the eleven forest department areas full of natural beauty as eco-tourism tourist destinations, under which Palampur assembly of Kangra district, the tourism capital of Himachal Pradesh, has been identified with Swar, Saurabh Van Vihar, Newgal Park and the world famous Bir-Billing are included in the forest division.

Chief Minister Sukhu said that each eco-tourism site in Himachal Pradesh will be developed within an area of one kilometer hectare.

All eco-tourism tourist destinations to be developed and operated through outsourcing in Himachal Pradesh have been fixed at a reserve price.

Chief Minister Sukhu said that by fully encouraging eco-tourism in Himachal Pradesh, the number of tourists from India and abroad coming to Himachal Pradesh will increase and the increase in the revenue of Himachal Pradesh Government will help the youth of entire Himachal Pradesh to establish employment and self-employment. Significant success will be achieved in creating new opportunities for tourism in himachal pradesh.

Before the program, cheques of Rs 1 lakh each were presented to the Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on behalf of the Lions Club and Rotary Club Dharamshala respectively for the amount of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Disaster Relief Fund.

During the program, MLA Sudhir Sharma, Political Advisor to Honourable Chief Minister Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu as Sunil Sharma, President of Himachal Pradesh State Agricultural Cooperative Bank Sanjay Chauhan, Director of Himachal Pradesh Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Punit Malli, Former MLA Surendra Kaku, District Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nipun Jindal, Kangra District Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri and all various dignitaries were present during the program.
