Rohru Accident: Car Fell Into Tons River Two Hundred Feet Below The Road, Three People Died On The Spot.

A pick-up vehicle, number – (HP 63 C 5039), carrying cow dung manure, coming to Nerva Tikri near Patan village, three kilometers before the border of Himachal Pradesh state on the Kalsi-Kwanu-Meens road of Uttarakhand state, met with an accident on Saturday morning. After falling, she fell two hundred feet below on the banks of Tons river. Due to which three people including the driver died on the spot in Himachal Pradesh.

The deceased were identified as Surjeet Singh son of Jagat Ram aged thirty five years resident of Tikri, Rakesh son of Surat Singh aged twenty six years resident of village Hirah and Shyam Singh son of Bhagmal aged forty eight years resident of village Dhanat tehsil Nerwa of Shimla. Has taken place as a resident.

All three deceased had gone to Patan village of Uttarakhand state late on Friday evening to collect cow dung manure.

On Saturday morning, they were going towards Tikri with fertilizer. Complete information about the incident was given to the tehsil administration by area panchayat member Mahendra Singh, resident of village Bayala.

On receiving all the information, in-charge Tehsildar Kalsi Chakrata Keshav Dutt Joshi, Revenue Inspector Rajendra Lal etc. reached the spot with their team and apart from this, Himachal Pradesh SDRF team was also called to the spot.

Himachal Pradesh Revenue Police and Himachal Pradesh SDRF reached the spot and are carrying out a rescue operation with the help of local villagers.

Himachal Pradesh Revenue Inspector Rajendra Lal told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the driver Ramesh and the passengers Surjit Singh and Shyam Singh had died at the entire incident site in Uttarakhand.

According to Himachal Pradesh Revenue Inspector Rajendra Lal, the remaining information about the incident is said to be known after a thorough investigation of the incident.

Himachal Pradesh Revenue Inspector Rajendra Lal told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the team of all the doctors was called to the accident site in Patan itself and after the post-mortem was done, the bodies were handed over to all the relatives.
