Sirmour News : In Sirmaur district, the cases of scrub typhus and dengue are continuously increasing. Currently, 15 cases of scrub typhus while half a dozen cases of dengue have been reported in the district so far.

Chief Medical Officer Ajay Pathak told that all the positive cases are being treated in the hospitals and the department has also started survey regarding these cases. He has given instructions to check the fever patients coming to the hospitals.

Ajay Pathak called upon the people to take special care of cleanliness and get health check-up done in the hospitals if symptoms of fever appear. He also said that the department is making people aware about this disease.

He said – I have written to the administration and also to the administration of the schools that in the morning assembly or wherever there is communication with the children, they should be made aware because awareness is very important in both these diseases.

Four cases of dengue have been reported to us in the portal. About fifteen cases of scrub typhus have come positive which have been reported to us. So, from our side, we have given guidelines to all our departments. That every patient with fever should be tested and the medicines given for scrub like zithramaicin and doctor cyclone should be given to every patient, whether positive or negative. be negative
