Shimla News : The outsource personnel working in various departments in the state are constantly demanding to formulate a policy for them. In this series, a state-level conference was organized in Shimla today to discuss the problems being faced by the outsource personnel and their permanent solution.

Shivendra Lal, vice-president of the Outsource Employees Union, told that in this conference, the government has been demanded to formulate a policy for outsourced workers and implement the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission so that the interest of the employees remains intact.

He said that the outsourced employees are being exploited within the departments, salaries are not paid on time and for the outsourced employees, which is one of our first issues for the formulation of a solid policy, it has been going on for the past several years. We are discussing what the outsourced employee is raising

And through the conference, we are also demanding that the recommendation of the Seventh Pay Commission, which they have said that the minimum wage should be twenty six thousand rupees, should be implemented in Himachal Pradesh and also a judgment of the supreme court. According to the equal pay for equal work which the supreme court has said that everyone should get, for that also we are urging the state government to implement it through this conference.

And the outsourced workers working in Himachal Pradesh, what you must have seen now is that during the corona period, our corona warrior, who was named at that time, the people of corona, their extension had ended. Till now an extension has been given. We are also demanding this through this conference. It should be continued for all those employees who are regularly serving in the departments.
