Lahaul Spiti : Lahaul Spiti district launches new initiative to encourage girl students under 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' campaign
Lahaul Spiti district administration has started a new initiative to encourage girl students under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign.
Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar said that under the campaign, one tablet will be presented to the girl students who come first in the tenth and plus two examinations.
Apart from this, financial assistance of forty-forty thousand rupees will also be given to ten girl students who have excelled in plus two, for coaching in the preparation of competitive examinations including NEET and JEE.
He said – see Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, we will give tablets to five girl students of class 10th from the department and we will also give tablets to five who are meritorious twelfth students.
In this action plan and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, so that our students from far-flung areas get a chance to study, online coaching is also a plan of ours. Along with that, we have started this which is our competitive exam, our children preparing for NEET of Lahaul-Spiti or preparing for JEE or want to prepare for service.
We have a good platform for them too, we have done 40000 rupees student in Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, apart from that we have also written to the department for additional funds. Our innovative and new one is to tablet girl children, coaching our girl students. This is our first campaign this year.
