Famous playback singer Alka Yagnik will soon be seen singing in Pahari Boli. This has become possible due to the efforts of state’s famous folk singer Dilip Sarmouri.

Alka Yagnik has lent her voice to Himachali folk song Pani Ri Tangi along with Dilip Sarmouri. The teaser of this song was launched in Shimla.

On this occasion, Dilip Sarmouri said that this song of his is old, but it will be seen in a new avatar soon. .

He said – See, the specialty of this song is that it is a very traditional song of Himachal Pradesh which is known as Pani Ri Tangi and which I had recorded audio ten years back.

So it is a matter of happiness for all. I have only become a medium. Our senior artists are also with us. All the artist brothers and we are accepting it in such a way that it will be considered as the cultural heritage of the state.
