Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has called upon the banks to make people financially literate.The Shimla office of the Reserve Bank of India organized an All India Quiz Competition on Financial Literacy at the historic Gaiety Theatre today.

Highlights –Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has called upon the banks to make people financially literate.
The Shimla office of the Reserve Bank of India organized an All India Quiz Competition on Financial Literacy at the historic Gaiety Theatre today.
The Governor participated in it as the chief guest and presented trophies and mementos to the winners.
The Governor said that financial literacy is a major life skill and through this it helps to understand the concept of savings, investment and loans.
He said that through financial literacy, online frauds are avoided and children are taught from a young age.
Habits of saving money are inculcated.
