Angry over giving jobs to B Ed degree holders on JBT posts, JBT trainees have raised hue and cry against the state government. The trainees have been sitting on a dharna throughout the night just a short distance from the secretariat.

They say that JBT has not been recruited since the year 2019 and now when the recruitment process has started, B Ed degree holders are being recruited. They demand that the government withdraw this decision as soon as possible otherwise JBT trainees will sit on hunger strike

Talking to Diary Times, a candidate said – Let me tell you that about 3500 posts are lying vacant in the primary. So you can see that the future of the children is absolutely safe and at the same time around 60000 are being trained. We have already trained children.

Along with this, let me also tell that every year batch after batch are being made to generate revenue just to earn money and you are not able to get recruitment done.

The last recruitment which took place in 2018 and in 2019, the recruitment post which came in 2018 December, his commission is in May. It is being built there. Which is not fulfilling the criteria of R and P rule.

We all know that TED was to be conducted by the state board for class 1st to 5th under the R&P rule. It has not been done till date, this education board itself tells that we have RTI for B.Ed, it itself tells that we have all the documents, but why the department is not understanding our words? This is beyond our understanding.
