NIA raids 25 places in Karnataka : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided Katihar on Wednesday in the Phulwari Sharif terror module case of Patna. According to the news , the NIA team has raided about 25 locations of the banned organization Popular Front of India in Karnataka, Kerala and Bihar.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided Katihar on Wednesday in the Phulwari Sharif terror module case of Patna. According to the news agency ANI, the NIA team has raided about 25 locations of the banned organization Popular Front of India in Karnataka, Kerala and Bihar.

The investigating agency, along with the local police station, raided the house of Mehboob Nadvi, state president of the banned organization PFI, in Muzaffar Tola of Hasanganj block of Katihar. The NIA team reached Hasanganj at around 6 am on Wednesday. Mehboob Nadvi’s house was searched for about two and a half hours. There is no information about the recovery of any objectionable items or documents in the search.

Mehboob’s brother Jabir was brought to Hasanganj police station for questioning. He was released after questioning. It is being told that the NIA had received information about Mehboob hiding at his house. After raiding the PFI office in Phulwari Sharif, the NIA team has raided Nadvi’s house in Hasanganj four times. For the second time in a month, the NIA team has reached Muzaffar Tola.
