RJD makes “coffin” jibe at new Parliament building; BJP says register “treason charge”

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Sunday compared the architecture of the new Parliament building to a coffin, to which the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reacted sharply, saying that the people will bury the RJD in such a coffin in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. BJP leader Sushil Modi said that a case of treason should be registered against those who compare the new parliament building with a coffin. BJP leader Dushyant Gautam said that this is very unfortunate. Today he is comparing it with a coffin, was he comparing the old Parliament with ‘Zero’? We were sitting in the first zero. Whereas, RJD leader Shakti Yadav while talking to ANI said, “PM Modi has buried democracy. The coffin has been posted because Modi ensured the death of democracy. The party had earlier announced that it would boycott the inauguration ceremony. RJD’s Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha said that there is a need for curriculum reform with the inauguration of the entire Parliament House.
