Iran Warns of “Many Surprises” as Tensions With US Escalate, Says Armed Forces Ready for Every Scenario

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaiel Baghaei says Iran’s armed forces are prepared for every scenario amid rising tensions with the United States, while Tehran remains focused on ending the conflict diplomatically.
Amid growing tensions in the Middle East, Iran has issued a strong warning to the United States, saying its military is fully prepared for any possible confrontation. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaiel Baghaei stated that Iran possesses “many surprises” and strategic capabilities that could be used whenever necessary.
Speaking about the ongoing conflict and possible peace negotiations, Baghaei said Tehran’s immediate priority is to stop the war and restore regional stability. However, he also accused the United States of triggering the current crisis through what he described as “miscalculations” about Iran’s military strength and national resolve.
Iran Focused on Ending the War
According to Baghaei, Iran remains open to diplomatic efforts aimed at stopping violations of territorial sovereignty and reducing military escalation in the region. He suggested that both sides could work toward a temporary memorandum of understanding based on international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter.
“For the time being, we are focused on ending the war,” Baghaei said, adding that discussions over the next 30 days could determine the framework of a broader agreement if tensions ease.
The Iranian official also stressed that Tehran did not initiate hostilities against the United States and claimed that Washington’s involvement in the region has only worsened the situation.
“Iran Has Many Surprises”
Responding to reports related to Iran’s military capabilities and comments made by former US President Donald Trump regarding the weakening of Iran’s armed forces, Baghaei dismissed the claims and questioned the credibility of American intelligence assessments.
“They need to reconsider their sources of information,” he said.
Without revealing specific military details, Baghaei hinted that Iran possesses advanced strategic capabilities that have not yet been fully showcased publicly.
“Iran has many surprises. Iran has many capacities that we use whenever needed,” he stated, signaling that Tehran may still hold significant military options in reserve.
Iranian Forces Ready for “Every Scenario”
The spokesperson also addressed concerns over a possible ground invasion by American forces. He warned that Iran’s military is prepared to respond strongly to any attack on its territory.
“I can assure you that our armed forces are prepared for every scenario,” Baghaei said. “Anyone who dares to put their foot on Iranian territory would badly regret it.”
The statement comes at a time when geopolitical tensions in the Middle East continue to remain high, with global powers closely monitoring developments between Iran and the United States.
Global Attention on Iran-US Relations
The latest remarks from Tehran are expected to intensify international discussions around regional security, military preparedness, and diplomatic negotiations. Analysts believe that while both nations continue to exchange strong rhetoric, diplomatic channels could still play a key role in preventing a larger conflict.
With the situation evolving rapidly, the international community remains focused on whether future talks can reduce tensions or whether the region could witness further escalation in the coming weeks.
