Aditya Dhar & Yami Gautam Visit Naina Devi Temple to Offer Prayers After ‘Dhurandhar’ Triumph
After the blockbuster success of Dhurandhar, director Aditya Dhar and actor Yami Gautam visited the revered Naina Devi Temple in Bilaspur to seek blessings. The film has crossed ₹200 crore in a week and continues its strong run.
Bollywood couple Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam visited the revered Shaktipeeth Shri Naina Devi Temple in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, to offer prayers following the exceptional box-office performance of Dhar’s latest film, Dhurandhar.
The espionage thriller — featuring Ranveer Singh, Akshay Khanna and others — has been shattering records since its December 5 release, collecting over ₹200 crore in just seven days. The film has drawn widespread praise from critics and industry figures, including Akshay Kumar, who said he was “blown away,” and Union Minister Smriti Irani, who hailed Dhar as a “craftsperson par excellence.”
Dhar and Gautam were joined by members of the Gautam family, including Yami’s mother, Anjali Gautam. The couple performed traditional rituals during their visit to the hill shrine.
Speaking to India Today, Dhar described the experience as deeply emotional. “It was a truly beautiful experience. We were very happy. Whenever we get the opportunity to have the Mata’s darshan, our hearts feel full. We are grateful for the wonderful arrangements made for us,” he said.
Dhurandhar, which follows the journey of an undercover Indian spy, is already set for a sequel slated to release in March 2026.
