Colombia’s Ecopetrol Plans Up to $7.2 Billion Investment in 2026
Colombia’s state-owned energy giant Ecopetrol will invest between $5.8–$7.2 billion in 2026, with plans to drill up to 430 development wells across Colombia and the U.S.
Colombia’s state-owned energy company Ecopetrol (ECO.CN) announced late Thursday that it plans to invest between 22 trillion and 27 trillion pesos ($5.88 billion to $7.21 billion) in 2026.
The company also outlined its plan to drill between 380 and 430 development wells—95% of them in Colombia and the remaining 5% in the United States, according to the statement.
