The 556th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru of the Sikhs and founder of Sikhism, was celebrated across the country with deep devotion and reverence. In Himachal Pradesh, the festival was observed with great enthusiasm, especially in the state capital Shimla, where special kirtans, ardas, and langars were held in various gurdwaras throughout the day.

The main celebration took place at the historic Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Shimla, where devotees began arriving early in the morning to offer prayers. The gurdwara was beautifully decorated with flowers, lights, and vibrant adornments. The atmosphere was filled with spirituality and peace as ragi jathas performed soulful Gurbani kirtan.
