Himachal Pradesh Government Announces Major Police Reshuffle: New SPs Appointed in Kullu, Chamba, Kinnaur, Hamirpur, Kangra and Nurpur

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh Government has appointed new Superintendents of Police (SPs) in several key districts across the state.
Madan Lal-II (HPPS), who previously served as Commandant of Home Guards, has been appointed as the new SP of Kullu. Vijay Kumar (HPPS), presently posted at the Police Headquarters, will now take charge as SP Chamba, while Sushil Kumar (HPPS) has been designated as SP Kinnaur.
From the State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Balbir Singh-I (HPPS) has been transferred to serve as SP Hamirpur, and Kulbhushan Verma (HPPS), currently with the ACB Mandi Zone, will assume the role of SP Nurpur.
Additionally, Vinod Kumar-II (HPPS) has been reappointed as SP Baddi, and IPS officer Ashok Rattan, who was already holding charge as SP Kangra, has now been formally appointed to the post.
This reshuffle is aimed at streamlining police administration and ensuring effective law enforcement across districts.
