Governor and Chief Minister Extend Greetings on Gurpurab

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu have extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.

In his message, the Governor said that Gurpurab is the most sacred festival of the Sikh community, celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru. He urged people to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji to lead a prosperous and peaceful life.

The Chief Minister said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji preached the values of love, peace, communal harmony, and selfless service to strengthen the bond of universal brotherhood. He added that the Guru’s teachings hold even greater relevance in today’s times.
