A deeply saddening news has come from Himachal Pradesh. Hemraj, a young and dedicated officer from the Forest Department posted as Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) in Kullu, has passed away. He hailed from Shaur Panchayat in the Pangi Valley. According to reports, he died following a brain hemorrhage.

Hemraj was widely known for his friendly nature, cheerful personality, and willingness to help others. Despite his young age, he had earned respect and recognition in the department through hard work and sincerity. His untimely demise has left not only the Forest Department but the entire state in shock.

Vidya Negi, Chairperson of the Himachal Pradesh State Women’s Commission, shared the news on her social media account. Forest officials and employees have expressed deep sorrow over the loss, many finding it hard to believe that an officer known for his positivity and energy is no longer with them.

Meanwhile, Pangi MLA Janak Raj also expressed grief on social media, writing, “Hem Raj, a capable officer from my constituency’s Shaur area and ACF in the Kullu Forest Department, was my classmate at Jawahar Navodaya, Sarol. Your sudden passing is deeply painful. Today, we have lost a cheerful and ever-helpful officer. May God grant peace to the departed soul.”
