Prabodh Saxena Appointed Chairman of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Hours After Retirement

Just hours after retiring as Chief Secretary, Prabodh Saxena has been appointed Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) for a three-year term.

As Chairman of HPSEBL, Saxena will report directly to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and hold a position equivalent in rank and responsibility to the Chief Secretary.

To accommodate this appointment, the current Chairman, Sanjay Gupta, has been transferred to the State Pollution Control Board. Gupta will also work under the administrative control of the Chief Minister and will be granted the rank and status of Chief Secretary.
