Kumud Sharma, Shimla, August 3: Diary Times News Service The recruitment process for 1,088 constable posts (male and female) in the Himachal Pradesh Police Department has gained momentum. The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released the results of the objective-type screening test conducted on June 15, 2025. Based on the results, the Commission has published the list of candidates shortlisted for the Document Verification (DV) round.
This recruitment drive includes 708 posts for male constables and 380 posts for female constables. All shortlisted candidates are required to appear for document verification on the date and at the venue specified by the Commission, carrying all original documents.
The HPPSC has clarified that this is a provisional selection list. Final appointment will be subject to successful verification of documents and fulfillment of all eligibility criteria. If any document is found to be incomplete or fraudulent, the candidate’s selection will be cancelled immediately.
Candidates are advised to visit the official website of the Commission to check their names in the list, along with details of their document verification schedule and venue. Failure to report on time for document verification will result in disqualification from the recruitment process.
