Shimla, July 11:
The Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) has imposed a strict ban on any kind of gate meetings, protests, rallies, or strikes by employee unions, associations, or joint forums within the premises of Vidyut Bhawan, Kumar House, or any field office campuses.

In a clear directive, the board has stated that such activities are strictly prohibited during working hours across all office premises.

According to the official order issued by the board, there have been recent reports of employees being coerced into participating in gate meetings, protests, or strikes. These actions have disrupted the peaceful office environment and adversely affected work culture. Additionally, noise and disturbances have been hampering routine office operations.

The order warns that any association, union, or forum found violating these instructions will be considered to be indulging in indiscipline and will face strict disciplinary action. All heads of departments have been directed to ensure strict implementation of the order and to immediately report any violations to headquarters.

The board has also cautioned that if any officer is found concealing information regarding such violations, they too will be held accountable and face disciplinary proceedings. The order, issued by the Executive Director (Personnel) of HPSEBL, emphasizes that non-compliance will be treated with utmost seriousness and no leniency will be shown.
