Pakistani Provocation Reaches Himachal: Missile Debris Found Near Chintpurni
Missile remains
Una, May 10: Amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, signs of Pakistani aggression have reportedly reached Himachal Pradesh. In a disturbing development, missile debris was discovered in the forests of Behar Bhated village near the revered Chintpurni temple late Friday night. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. with a loud explosion, sparking a fire near a residential area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Eyewitness Account
A local resident, Sarvjeet, recounted that he noticed a bright light streaking across the sky, prompting his dogs to bark incessantly. As he stepped outside to investigate, a powerful blast shook the area, and an object crashed into the nearby forest, igniting a fire. Luckily, rainfall at the time helped villagers extinguish the blaze quickly. Sarvjeet immediately alerted the village head and local police, who responded promptly and launched an investigation.
Debris Recovered
Hans Raj, the head of the Behar Bhated Panchayat, confirmed that the explosion was loud enough to wake the entire village. He received a call from Sarvjeet detailing the incident, and along with other residents, rushed to the site and informed the police.
Officers recovered several small fragments from the scene. Later in the morning, Sarvjeet found another heavy, spherical object—estimated to weigh around 50 to 60 kilograms—near his home. Police were notified again and are currently stationed at the site, treating the incident with utmost seriousness as their investigation continues.
