CM Sukhvinder Sukhu Holds High-Level Meeting, Congratulates Armed Forces on Success of ‘Operation Sindoor’

Shimla, May 7:
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu chaired a high-level meeting today following the successful execution of ‘Operation Sindoor’ by the Indian Armed Forces. Commending the military for the operation’s success, the Chief Minister said, “We are proud of our nation’s armed forces.”

During the meeting, the Chief Minister conducted a comprehensive review of various critical areas including security arrangements, transportation, food supply, communication systems, power supply, disaster management, and healthcare services. He received detailed briefings from officials and issued necessary directions to ensure preparedness and coordination across all departments.

CM Sukhu also reviewed the security arrangements across the state and held consultations with Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police from all districts, instructing them to maintain heightened vigilance and ensure readiness.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary Omkar Chand Sharma, Director General of Police Dr. Atul Verma, and other senior officials from key departments.
