Hamirpur, April 16: The Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPSSC), Hamirpur has officially released the final result for 314 posts of Drawing Master (Post Code 980) to be filled on a contract basis. This long-awaited announcement brings closure to a recruitment process that began in 2022.
Out of the total vacancies, 119 posts were reserved for the General (UR) category, while 45 were allocated to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). Additionally, 5 posts were reserved for Women (WFF), 47 for OBC (UR), 7 for OBC-BPL, and 1 for OBC-WFF. The Scheduled Castes (SC) were allotted 63 UR posts, 14 SC-BPL, while 10 ST-UR and 3 ST-BPL posts were also filled.
A total of 8,721 applications were received, and 7,502 candidates were found eligible for the screening test conducted on October 8, 2022. Out of these, 6,317 appeared, while 1,185 were absent.
Following the examination, 971 candidates were shortlisted for document verification, held from December 16 to 22, 2022, based on a 1:3 selection ratio. 966 candidates appeared, and 5 were marked absent during the verification process.

A Commission spokesperson confirmed that the final merit list is now available on the official website: http://www.hprca.hp.gov.in. Candidates can log in and check their individual marks using their roll number.
