Himachal Pradesh Starts Process for Updating BPL List: Applications Open from April 1 to 30
Shimla, March 21: In a significant move to address poverty and ensure the benefits of government schemes reach those in need, the Himachal Pradesh government has initiated the process to update the Below Poverty Line (BPL) list. The new list will help identify eligible families for welfare programs and improve the delivery of essential services.
According to the Rural Development Department, families who wish to be included in the BPL list must submit their applications, along with required documentation, to the concerned Gram Panchayat from April 1 to 30, 2025.
