National Cyber Reporting Platform (NCRP): A Game-Changer in the Fight Against Fraud

One of the most valuable forms of synergy for the Cyber Station Data Center lies in its integration with the National Cyber Reporting Platform (NCRP). This platform is the foremost tool for registering complaints about cybercrime, particularly pertaining to financial fraud. This helps authorities in tracking and disposition of cases including the recovery of defrauded amounts.

In 2024 alone, the NCRP registered as many as 11,982 complaints, revealing fraudulent cases worth a whopping Rs 114 crore. The Cyber Station has been crucial in reducing these losses. The victims were successful in getting back around Rs 15 crore, with the swift action of the police team behind it. The culmination of this is a successful one for the Cyber Station team, and also highlights how vital a well-thought coordination of efforts can be in taking down cyber crime rings.

These women were witnesses and proof that we are not doomed by the lack of men in the measure but we can also make a difference if we choose to leave the mainstream and say that enough is enough for us, and we want to contribute to stopping the digital crime and cycle of doom so that we can regain control and empower every woman to step into the cyber security field.

Seniority Recognition by Police Officials

In recognition of the outstanding contributions of the Cyber Station Data Center, the team under the leadership of DIG Cyber Crime Mohit Chawla held a meeting with the Director General of Police (DGP), Himachal Pradesh, SR Ojha.
