Leader of Opposition and BJP leaders are constantly working to stop the help given by Center: Vikramaditya Singh

Shimla, February 14: Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh in Himachal Government has hit back at the opposition on the issue of employment in Shimla. Vikramaditya Singh said that in the tenure of 2 years, the state government provided 42 thousand employment opportunities to the youth. Whereas the former BJP government gave only 55431 thousand government jobs in 5 years. During this, Vikramaditya Singh has also accused the Leader of Opposition and BJP of stopping the help given to Himachal from the Center.
Vikramaditya Singh said that development work is being done in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The state government is committed to providing employment to the youth and the government is working for this, but for some time now, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has been continuously making factless statements, which is very unfortunate. Vikramaditya Singh said that the government has provided employment opportunities to 42 thousand youth in its two-year tenure, out of which 20254 thousand jobs have been given in the government sector. The government has also restored the recruitments which were pending due to the scams of the previous government. Vikramaditya Singh said that the process of filling 25 thousand new posts will start soon, in which the youth of the state will get more employment opportunities.
Vikramaditya Singh said that the BJP government left a debt of 75 thousand crores on the state. The present government worked to strengthen the state economically. 443 industrial proposals were approved under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh. Along with this, employment is being given to the youth through Rajiv Gandhi Swarojgar Yojana. Accusing the Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, Vikramaditya Singh said that Jairam Thakur is constantly working to stop the help Himachal gets from the Center. Efforts are being made to suppress the voice of Himachal in every funding of the Center.
Himachal is not an economically viable state and is dependent on the Centre. Jammu and Kashmir was given a special package in the budget but Himachal suffered heavy losses due to the disaster but did not get a single penny. Vikramaditya Singh said that politics should not be just for the sake of politics. The opposition should do politics for the benefit of the state.
