CM Sukhu sent 50 brilliant students of Himachal on foreign tour
Shimla, 07 February: With the aim of bringing qualitative improvement in the field of education, the Himachal Pradesh government has taken the initiative of sending children abroad on exposure visits on the lines of teachers, so that children can move forward in life by taking the experience of foreign education. Under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan of the Education Department, the topper children of class 10th in government schools who are currently studying in 11th and 12th were sent by the Chief Minister from Shimla for a foreign tour to Cambodia and Singapore.
On this occasion, Director of Education Amarjeet Sharma said that the government is continuously taking corrective steps to promote qualitative education in the state. Exposure visits are being given priority for teachers as well as students. So that they can get better education and experience at the global level. 50 brilliant students have been sent for a foreign tour from Shimla on Friday, who will return to Shimla on 18 February.
On this occasion, the children going on a foreign tour said that through exposure visits, they will get the experience of the education system, modern technologies and cultural exchange of different countries. This will not only improve their learning process, but will also help in their personality development.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the government is going to bring revolutionary changes in the field of education. In this direction, children are being sent on foreign tours so that children also learn the education system of other countries. The work of building day boarding schools has also started in the state and it is the responsibility of the government to provide quality education to the children.
In the upcoming budget also, the government is going to make revolutionary changes to strengthen education, health and rural economy. Along with the children, Education Minister Rohit Thakur and former CPS Sohanlal Thakur will also go on a foreign tour.
