This time this five-day carnival is being organized from 20 to 24 January, which was inaugurated by local MLA Bhuvneshwar Gaur. Although Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was to inaugurate it, but the Chief Minister could not reach Manali due to bad weather. Due to this, resentment has also been seen among the women of the self-help group who are a part of the carnival.
An angry woman from the self-help group She told Diary Times that, “No system has been found out till now. We have found out that they are saying at three o’clock that there should be some system. This time the carnival was delayed so much and on top of that they have delayed the tableau so much. There is no arrangement for water or food here. There is no arrangement for anything here.”
In this winter carnival, Manali Winter Queen and Voice of Carnival are going to be the center of attraction and for this, tourists and participants from other states of the country have also reached the carnival and are looking very excited.
Around 270 Mahila Mandals have reached the carnival and are spreading the colors of the state’s culture in this carnival.
