Mandi, Sourabh Jaiswal: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has inaugurated Khelo Bharat Nagar Khel Kumbh at Paddal Ground in Mandi.
Vidyarthi Parishad’s department coordinator Chirag Thakur said that competitions of football, kabaddi, tug of war, hockey, grappling and wushu will be organized in Nagar Khel Kumbh.
He said that the youth of the district are participating in this Khel Kumbh with great enthusiasm.
He said that the objective of the competition is to make the youth aware against drug abuse and encourage them towards sports.
He said that the players who bring better results in these competitions will be honored and prize money will also be distributed.
At the same time, Municipal Corporation Mayor Virendra Bhatt also praised this Nagar Khel Kumbh and said that Vidyarthi Parishad has always played a leading role in nationalism and social work, which is very beneficial for the young generation,
