Himachal: Despite limited resources, Tajender Thundu became a lieutenant in the Indian Army by passing the CDS exam
Paonta Sahib, (Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh) [India], January 11 (Diary Times): The name of Jajli, a tiny village in Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, is now being taken with pride in the entire Sirmaur district because Tajender Thundu of Jajli has passed the difficult Combined Defense Service (CDS) exam and has achieved the post of Lieutenant in the Indian Army. Tajender Thundu’s father Atar Singh and his late mother Rekha Devi also had the dream that their son Tajender Thundu would go to the country and make his name shine. Originally a resident of Chachrada village of Shillai subdivision, Tajender Thundu prepared day and night with hard work and dedication to achieve this goal.
Tajender Thundu received his primary education from a government school in Poka village. Despite limited resources, he never compromised on his goal. Despite difficulties, his hard work and confidence never stopped him from moving forward. Getting selected in the army after clearing the CDS exam is a proud moment for his family and the entire region.
