Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], January 10 (Diary Times): Nahan city was struck with sorrow on Friday morning as the news of 78-year-old Veer Narayan Singh’s passing broke. A resident of Upper Street, near the Lakshmi Narayan temple, he passed away in Chandigarh at approximately 4:30 am.

Reports suggest that Veer Narayan Singh was brought to Chandigarh on Wednesday for treatment of heart-related issues. Unfortunately, on Friday morning, he suffered another heart attack and passed away. Having served at Nahan Foundry, he was known for his gentle and friendly nature, maintaining warm relations with all segments of society. His untimely demise has deeply saddened the community in Nahan. He leaves behind a loving family, including a son and a daughter, who mourn his loss.

Family sources have confirmed that the funeral procession for Veer Narayan Singh will begin from his residence at 2 pm on Friday, with his last rites scheduled to be performed at Moksha Dham. His passing has cast a shadow of grief over the entire area, where locals are mourning the loss of a beloved figure.
