Commendable initiative of Nahan College Management – Sirmauri Dham being served to Kabaddi players
Dr. Anoop, Mess In-charge of Nahan College, said that hill cuisine is disappearing in the present times, so efforts are being made to prepare these hill cuisines and serve them to the players.
Sirmaur, 04 December: Nahan College, which is hosting the University Inter College Kabaddi Competition being held at Sirmaur District Headquarters Nahan, has taken a unique initiative.
Nahan College Management is serving hill cuisine to female Kabaddi players participating in the competition from colleges across the state by setting up Sirmauri Dham. Here, traditional dishes of Sirmaur like Kheer, Patande, Askali, Poode and some potato vegetables are being served in the food given to about 250 female Kabaddi players and the team in-charge who accompanied them.
Dr. Anoop, Mess In-charge of Nahan College, said that hill cuisine is disappearing in the present times, so efforts are being made to prepare these hill cuisines and serve them to the players.
He said that womens have been specially invited to prepare hill cuisine here And giving the message of plastic free, food is being served on plates made of leaves.
