Major Breakthrough for Theog Police: 20-Year-Old Harsh Saini Arrested with 76.050 Grams of Chitta
The accused caught by Theog police has been identified as 20-year-old Harsh Saini, a resident of Roorkee in Haridwar district. He lives in Maktulpur Sanjay Gandhi Colony Roorkee.
Shimla (09 January, Thursday): In another major crackdown on drug smuggling, the police of subdivision Theog of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh has recovered a huge consignment of 76.050 grams of chitta. This success was achieved when Theog police searched a suspicious bike rider during patrolling in Rahighat on Wednesday night. The accused is a resident of Roorkee in Haridwar district and has been arrested by Theog police. The Theog police has registered a case under section 21 of the NDPS Act and has also started investigation.
This case has been registered at Theog police station. According to the case, during the patrolling of Theog police, SI Narendra Jeet received secret information that a person, who is coming from Shimla to Theog, may be carrying narcotics. That person was riding on bike number (CH 01CP-7096).
On receiving secret information, Theog police increased vigilance and stopped a suspicious bike rider in Rahighat area near Theog bypass. During the search, 76.050 grams of chitta was recovered from the accused youth.

The accused arrested by Theog police
The accused caught by Theog police has been identified as 20-year-old Harsh Saini, a resident of Roorkee in Haridwar district. He lives in Maktulpur Sanjay Gandhi Colony Roorkee.
Theog DSP Siddharth Sharma said that a case has been registered against the accused 20-year-old Harsh Saini under section 21 of the NDPS Act. The accused 20-year-old Harsh Saini has been arrested and is being interrogated. The Theog police is also trying to find out from where the accused brought the chitta and where he was going to supply it.
According to Theog police, similar strict action will continue against those involved in drug trafficking in the future. After interrogation of 20-year-old Harsh Saini, the accused arrested in this case, the drug network is expected to be exposed.
In Upper Shimla, the police has exposed Shahi Mahatma Gang, Radhe Gang involved in drug smuggling and arrested their leaders.
DSP Siddharth Sharma has appealed to the public that if anyone gets information about drug trafficking or suspicious activities, then immediately inform the police. This growing threat of drug addiction can be stopped only through collective efforts.
