Family From Mumbai Struck by Falling Stones, Husband and Driver Injured
Mandi, December 29: A tragic incident occurred on Sunday in the 4-mile area near Mandi on the Chandigarh-Manali highway, resulting in the death of a tourist woman from Mumbai. The woman, identified as Priya, was traveling with her family when a sudden landslide caused large stones to fall onto the taxi they were in. The stones struck the vehicle, leading to fatal consequences.
Priya died instantly at the scene, while her husband and the taxi driver sustained injuries. They were quickly taken to the nearest hospital for medical attention. The taxi driver, who was seriously injured, has been referred to the PGI hospital in Chandigarh for advanced treatment.

The local authorities, including ASP Mandi Sagar Chand, have confirmed the tragic accident. The incident has left the local community and the tourist family in shock and mourning.
