Shimla, December 25: In a tragic turn of events, Rajnesh Kumar, the Assistant Settlement Officer of Himachal Pradesh, has passed away unexpectedly. Kumar, who was serving in Arki, Solan district, had been on medical leave due to his ongoing battle with diabetes. He had been undergoing treatment for some time prior to his sudden demise.

A member of the 2016 batch of the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service, Rajnesh Kumar had a distinguished career, including serving as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Nahan, Sirmaur district, from October 2020 to February 2024. His passing has left a deep sense of loss in the administrative community, as his colleagues remember him for his professionalism, warmth, and dedication to service.
