Shimla police recovered 12.280 grams of heroin from two real brothers, case registered under NDPS Act
The accused have been identified as 28-year-old Davinder Singh and 34-year-old Mandeep Singh. Both the accused are residents of Wasi Shekha village.
Shimla, December 14: Shimla police arrested two real brothers during a check post in Shoghi town under Boileauganj police station area. 12.280 grams of narcotic substance chitta (heroin) was recovered from them. Shimla Police have registered a case against both the accused.
These two were caught last night, when the police team had set up a check post near Housing Board Colony on NH-05 in Shoghi. During this time, the police saw a motorcycle (PB65AB-7156) coming, which was stopped while moving towards Shimla. When the police stopped the motorcycle and searched it, they recovered 12.280 grams of chitta (heroin) from the motorcycle riders.

Both the arrested accused are residents of Mohali district of Punjab. The accused have been identified as 28-year-old Davinder Singh and 34-year-old Mandeep Singh. Both the accused are residents of Wasi Shekha village. The police have arrested both the accused and registered a case against them under the NDPS Act.
SP Shimla Sanjeev Gandhi said that the accused were going towards Shimla with drugs on a motorcycle, which was caught in time. He also said that the police will continue such campaigns in future and will take strict action against drugs.
