Solan, December 14: A tragic incident has come to light in village Rihun of Gram Panchayat Anhech in Dagshai area of ​​Dharmpur in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Three migrant workers living on rent here died due to coal gas. The deceased have been identified as Suresh Kumar, Arbaaz, and Suraj. All three artisans are said to be residents of Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. Their age was between 20 to 28 years.
Last night, all three artisans went to sleep in their room after lighting a coal brazier. When they did not wake up in the morning, the landlord knocked on the door several times. When there was no sound from inside, the landlord informed the Panchayat representatives and the police.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and opened the door of the room by breaking the window grill. All three persons were found dead inside. A coal stove was found burning in the room, due to which prima facie it appears to be a case of death due to suffocation.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Parwanoo reached the spot with his team and started investigating the incident. Police has taken the bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem. Further action is being taken in the case.
