Sirmaur: Special meeting held for TB eradication, public participation campaign continues for 100 days
Sirmaur, 04 December: A special meeting was organized by the Health Department regarding TB eradication in Sirmaur district. In the meeting, the public participation campaign being run for 100 days as per the instructions of the state government was discussed.
While talking to the media, BMO Dhagera Dr. Monisha Agarwal said that as per the guidelines of the government, the target has been set to make India TB free by the year 2025. In this series, as per the orders of the state government, a public participation campaign is being run for 100 days, under which about 22,069 people will be tested for TB in Sirmaur district.
A total of sixteen categories have been created for this test, which will be tested. She appealed to the people for cooperation so that this target can be achieved in the district within the stipulated time.
Dr. Monisha said that the officers will be given training here, after which ASHA workers will be trained so that ASHA workers can go to ground zero and work well.
