Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that the winter session of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly will be held at Tapovan in Dharamshala from 18 to 21 December 2024.
A total of 4 meetings will be held in this session and this will be the seventh session of the present government.
On returning home, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly has accepted the proposal of the government to hold the session and sent it to the Raj Bhavan for the consent of the Honorable Governor and its notification will be issued soon.
Pathania said that he had issued guidelines to the Kangra district administration from Seoul itself for the arrangements of organizing the session in Tapovan and he himself will soon visit Dharamshala to take stock of the proper arrangements.
Earlier, on his return to the country, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly was welcomed by Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania and MLA Malendra Rajan and the officers and employees of the Legislative Assembly Secretariat by presenting a bouquet.
The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly said that his visit was educational, practical and informative and he will make public the experience of his 22-day foreign tour through a press conference tomorrow at 11:30 am.
