Cabinet Meeting: Gifts for Hamirpur & Dehra, Major Departments Set to Move to Hamirpur
If we take a closer look at the decisions of the Himachal Cabinet, only Hamirpur and Dehra have been given the most gifts, while on the pretext of reducing the crowd from the capital Shimla, the Congress-ruled Sukhu government is shifting the office of Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Welfare Workers Board to Hamirpur.
Not only this, the biggest gift of upgrading Hamirpur, the smallest district of Himachal Pradesh and the home district of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, to a Municipal Corporation has been given. CM Sukhu did not stop here, he has even given the status of Nagar Parishad to his home assembly constituency Nadaun.

Maximum gifts only to Hamirpur –
In Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College of Hamirpur district, 30 posts of Senior Resident Doctors and 326 posts of supporting staff are going to be filled. Not only this, a new police post will be opened in this college and seven posts of different categories will also be filled.
The cabinet headed by CM Sukhu has also decided to fill ten posts of different categories in the State Selection Commission being run in Hamirpur.
Gifts for Dehra too –
Recruitment for 6 posts of different categories is also going to be done in the block medical office opened in Dehra, the assembly constituency of CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s wife and MLA Kamlesh Thakur.
CM busy in developing his assembly instead of the state – On the basis of the decisions taken in yesterday’s cabinet meeting, it can be said that CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is busy in developing his home district Hamirpur and his wife Mrs. Kamlesh Thakur’s assembly Dehra, while he is not concerned about the interests of the state.
Dharamshala did not get any gift –
Himachal Pradesh’s most famous assembly constituency and Kangra district headquarters Dharamshala has not been given any kind of gift by CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, this shows that the government only wants to develop the assembly constituencies of Congress leaders, not only this, former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur’s assembly constituency Seraj has also not been given any gift in the cabinet.
