Vigilance caught a patwari red handed taking a bribe of Rs 20,000 in Dharamshala
Money was demanded for making agriculture certificate.

Kangra (Bureau): A corruption case has come to light in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. The vigilance team has arrested a patwari posted in Patwar Circle Ambari under Nagarota Bagwan tehsil red handed while taking a bribe of 20 thousand rupees.
The vigilance team has taken this action after receiving a complaint. According to the information, Manoj Kumar, a resident of Nagarota Bagwan, had lodged a complaint in this regard at the Vigilance Police Station Dharamshala.
The complainant had alleged that Patwari Kapil Dev posted in Patwar Circle Ambari was demanding a bribe of 20 thousand rupees from him in lieu of issuing an agriculture certificate.
After receiving the complaint, the vigilance team took immediate action and laid a trap and caught the patwari red handed while taking bribe.
Vigilance SP Balbir Singh confirmed the arrest and said that the investigation of the case is ongoing and strict action will be taken against the accused Patwari.
